Expression of interest dates
- Knox Festival 2026: Saturday 28 February 2026, 10 am to 10 pm at Wally Tew Reserve, Ferntree Gully
- Expression of Interest Applications close: 3 pm Monday 01 December 2025
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application no later than 5pm Friday 19 December 2025.
Selection criteria
Applicants will be considered based on the following criteria:
- Product quality and value
- Locality
- Previous experience
- Sustainability
- Compliance and safety
Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee that it will be successful. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
Stall type categories
Commercial vendors
Commercial food/beverage vendor - Business trader selling food and drinks from a food truck, cart, trailer or marquee.
Commercial business stall - Business selling non-handmade products or promotion of a business or service.
Commercial sport or leisure organisation - Sport franchise, commercial sport league or other sport/leisure entities.
Community or Not-For-Profit (NFP) vendors
Community or NFP food/beverage vendor - Volunteer or NFP trader selling food and drinks from a food truck, cart, trailer or marquee.
Community sport or NFP leisure group - Volunteer or NFP organisation, special interest sport, Knox Council run facilities and spaces such as recreation centre or club.
Community or NFP groups - Community or NFP groups that provide activities or information including NFP schools, Scouts or Girl Guides groups.
Craft/artisan market stall - Small business selling handmade crafts or goods. Artisan comprises of anything ethically handmade by yourself or someone else.
Community Sponsorship discount
Community and NFT vendors may be eligible for a subsidised discount on the following conditions. If eligible, the discount will be added at the time of invoicing.
To be eligible for sponsorship, the applicant must:
- Be a not-for-profit (NFT) community group (individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organisations are not eligible)
- Must provide a community-based activity or craft that delivers a positive, inclusive and meaningful benefit to the festival's programming and to the local community
Selection process terms and conditions:
- The sponsorship is a one-off discount and will be awarded at the dole discretion of the event organising team.
- The team reserves the right to accept or reject any sponsorship application without explanation.
