- School holiday activities for young people
The Knox Youth Services team, Knox Community Arts Centre and local libraries are offering a diverse program of activities for young people who live, study, work, or have a connection to Knox. Whether they are into arts, cooking, games, sport, or just looking for something new to try, there's something for everyone.
Young people can get hands-on with crafting sessions, creative workshops and pizza making—perfect for those who love to create and cook. For gamers, there’s Mario Kart competitions that promise plenty of friendly rivalry and laughs, plus cheese toasties to fuel up! For something a little different, Mahjong Mania offers a fun introduction to this classic game, perfect for curious minds.
Those thinking about their future can attend a practical jobs workshop designed to build confidence and skills. Or there are plenty of opportunities to get moving with a girls’ footy clinic, basketball clinics, and multi-sports programs that encourage teamwork, fitness and fun.
And for a dose of live entertainment, don’t miss FRITZ, a feature show at Knox Community Arts Centre that promises to be a highlight of the holidays.
With something happening almost every day, it’s the perfect time to explore, connect, and have fun.
