- Free sustainable living workshops
Want to make sustainable living easy, fun, and rewarding? Join the free Knox @ HOME program!
Learn through online workshops and resources, and connect with your like-minded neighbours.
This council-endorsed initiative covers topics include composting, energy efficiency, resourceful living, transport, self-care, food, gardening, and water.
Each month there will be two live workshops you can choose to join. You can also watch over 40 workshop recordings whenever it’s convenient for you.
Upcoming live workshops include:
Help Me... Rethink My Lawn to Grow More and Mow Less
Tuesday 19 August, 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
Join gardening expert Edwina Robinson and help our resident break up with their high-maintenance lawn—without losing their backyard joy.
Grow It, Cook It: Simple, Seasonal Meals from the Garden
Tuesday 9 September, 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
Join global permaculture educator and passionate home cook Morag Gamble for a practical and inspiring session on seasonal eating. Morag will share her favourite low-fuss, garden-to-plate ideas that help you eat well, reduce waste and reconnect with where your food comes from.
