Calling young people in Knox – join our Youth Advisory Committee

Applications are now open for our 2023 Youth Advisory Committee. As part of the committee young people advise Council about issues facing young people in our community.

You can apply to be part of the 2023 committee if you are between the ages of 12-25, or you have an interest in youth affairs, and you have a connection to the City of Knox (for example, you live, work or study here).

As a Youth Advisory Committee member you will:

  • Share your ideas for your local community
  • Have your say about local issues that affect young people
  • Develop your skills and experience
  • Meet other young people in Knox
  • Have a volunteer role that you can put on your CV

Meetings are held monthly and will commence in February 2023.

Expressions of interest close Wednesday 9 November.
