Local support for homelessness

On any given night, more than 380 Knox community members are sleeping rough. A staggering figure most won’t be aware of.

The figure, however, is not unfamiliar to Knox Infolink - Knox’s leading resource centre for those experiencing homelessness.

Led by Denise Budge, Knox Infolink provide advocacy and referral services that are free, confidential and impartial. They also provide essential parcels available on a walk-in basis, including food, toiletries, and more.

“Our mission is to empower individuals to make informed decisions, create a sense of belonging in our community and above all, enhance their quality of life, “ says Denise.

Knox Infolink relies heavily on volunteers. We encourage residents who are able, to support the incredible work Denise and her team do each day and make a difference that counts within our community.

Local support is always available and is often the first step toward safe and secure housing.
