We are inviting your ideas and feedback to enhance Kings Park, Upper Ferntree Gully. Have your say by 14 January 2022.
This is your chance to tell us how we can make Kings Park better for you and your family, and ensure it remains an attractive destination for sport and leisure activities into the future.
Your feedback will help us develop a long term masterplan for Kings Park. The masterplan will provide future directions, and initiatives to make the park better for locals, sporting clubs and visitors.
Topics we are seeking feedback on include facilities, walking and cycling connectivity and playground area.
Kings Park is well utilised by locals, and an attractive location for sport and leisure activities. The park consists of sporting ovals (including a grassed athletics track, long jump it and hammer throw area), cricket practice nets, sporting pavilions and toilet facilities.
Clubs and services located in Kings Park include:
- Upper Ferntree Gully Football Netball Club
- Upper Ferntree Gully Cricket Club
- Upwey Ferntree Gully Baseball Club
- Sherbrooke Little Athletics Club
- Coonara Community House
Ferny Creek and Ferny Creek tail, is a highly valued landscape character that runs along the west of Kings Park.
