- Time To Do Something With Your Christmas Tree
Are you wondering what to do with your live Christmas tree now the festivities are over?
As part of our fortnightly bundled branch service, we will collect live Christmas trees to turn into compost. So, you can chop your live Christmas tree up to 1.5m in length and 30cm in bundled diameter once tied with natural string/twine.
Please don’t use plastic/synthetic twine as it clogs up the shredder. There is a maximum weight of 30kg, Multiple bundles are permitted.
Please note, any untied bundles or branches (single or multiple) will not be collected.
Make sure you put bundles out before 6am on the collection day. Your bundled branches are collected on the same day each fortnight as your household rubbish bin.
If your bundled waste collection is missed, call our Customer Service team on 9298 8000.
