Tell us how you like to play at Marie Wallace

The playground at Marie Wallace Bayswater Reserve is a much-loved play space and a favourite destination for families across the community. Now it’s time to renew the wooden fort and create a play space that is safe, inclusive, and designed for children of all ages and abilities.

The renewal will ensure the play area meets current playground and safety standards and continues to provide to provide inclusive, imaginative play opportunities for everyone.

We want to hear what you love about the current fort and what you think could make play more fun and engaging. Share your thoughts about the features you’d like to keep or what you think should be included. Would you like more climbing challenges or spaces for imaginative games? Your ideas will help us understand what matters most to you.  

After consultation closes, we’ll use your feedback to create a draft design and share it with you in early 2026 so you can see how your input shaped the plan.
