- Transitioning From Primary To Secondary School
Transitioning from primary to secondary school can be a significant change for students.
Although most students (and parents) will have a sense of optimism, some may feel a sense of anxiety - and it’s a journey of change that can be made positive - with preparation, planning and support.
To help support both parents and students through this process, you're invited to join our free webinar on Wednesday 19 November 2025.
Presented by Kate Wilde, Director of The Human Development Workshop, the webinar will cover:
The basic information – routines, public transport and homework
The 'tricky' stuff – friends, bullying and anxiety
The important information – workload, getting help and working with your child’s personal and learning strengths
The complex information – managing technology, school refusal, supporting your young person’s mental health and flourishing in school
Event details:
When: Wednesday 19 November 2025
Time: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Location: online via Zoom
