Project status
We are undergoing major works at the centre to meet a wide range of community needs.
The following projects have already been delivered:
- construction of a multipurpose facility
- upgrades to the leisure centre including tennis, basketball and squash courts
- construction of a senior's exercise park
- a new playground
- carpark upgrade
- basketball key and outdoor gym equipment
- new public toilets.
Further upgrades are planned over the coming years.
Current projects
Sportsground renewal
We are upgrading the sportsground to improve safety, playability and access for all users. This will make sure it meets the needs of soccer, cricket and the broader community.
The sportsground renewal will include:
- turf replacement
- drainage and irrigation upgrades
- new fencing
- synthetic and hybrid turf treatments in high-wear areas.
Works are expected between October 2026 and October 2027.
Pavilion upgrade
The pavilion upgrade will include:
- inclusive change rooms and improved disability access
- facilities for away teams and officials
- kitchen, kiosk and cool room
- meeting space, first aid room and public toilets
- additional storage to support club and community use.
Works started mid-April 2026 and are expected to be completed by early 2027.
