Project status
We are undergoing major works at the centre, to cater to a wide range of community needs.
The following projects have already been delivered:
- construction of a multipurpose facility
- upgrades to the leisure centre including tennis, basketball and squash courts
- construction of a senior's exercise park
- a new playground
- carpark upgrade.

Pavilion upgrade
Construction of the pavilion upgrade started mid April 2026 and is expected to be completed by late 2027. Temporary facilities are provided for clubs during construction.
The upgrade will include:
- inclusive change rooms and improved disability access
- facilities for away teams and officials
- kitchen, kiosk and cool room
- meeting space, first aid room and public toilets
- additional storage to support club and community use.
Outdoor basketball key and exercise equipment
Construction of the basketball key and outdoor gym equipment will commence in mid-April 2026 and is due for completion in late May 2026.
As part of the renewal project, the space will include a:
- new shared path connecting the playground to the northern carpark
- basketball key including line marking and noise reduction basketball tower
- variety of outdoor gym equipment
- platform bench seat
- garden bed installation.
New public toilets
Construction of a new public toilets will commence in April 2026 with anticipated completion in June 2026.
