- 10 Years of Knox Factor
Knox is once again turning up the volume as it prepares to host Knox Factor, our much-loved singing competition.
Commemorating its 10th anniversary, Knox Factor continues to celebrate the vibrant musical spirit of the community, inviting singers of all ages and experience levels to take the stage at the Knox Community Arts Centre. Open to solo vocalists who live, work, study, or engage in activities within the City of Knox. The competition offers more than just the thrill of performance - it opens a door into the music industry.
Professional mentoring, industry networking & prizes
This year’s participants will benefit from:
- Sessions with Mentor Andrea Cobern of ASV Academy, includes guidance on stagecraft, vocal coaching and song selection.
- Joe Grimes of Sound of Melbourne Records will offer insights into building an online presence and navigating the music industry.
Beyond the spotlight, contestants will also have opportunities to connect with fellow musicians, educators, event organisers, and industry professionals - networks that often lead to further professional development.
The winners of Knox Factor will receive:
- Professional studio recording time
- Music gear
- One-on-one coaching sessions
- Performance opportunities at Knox Carols pre-show 2025
