Celebrating carers in Knox

In celebration of the vital role unpaid carers play in our community, in partnership with Knox Community Gardens, we invite you to the Carers’ Bloom event.

 

Held during National Carers Week (12–18 October), the event aims to bring together carers from across the region for a morning of connection, self-care, and appreciation.

Set in the tranquil surrounds of Knox Community Gardens, the event will begin with a guided garden tour, offering carers a peaceful moment to reconnect with nature and the new sensory plots. This will be followed by a self-care strategies workshop, where participants will explore practical ways to nurture their own wellbeing while managing the demands of caregiving. The morning will conclude with a shared morning tea, fostering community and conversation among attendees.
