Immerse launches this weekend

From this Friday 26 June, the much-loved arts event returns, transforming everyday spaces across Knox into a month-long trail of creativity, light installations and unexpected moments.

Running through to 26 July, Immerse will bring art into our parks, laneways and public places - making it easy to experience something new without having to travel far.

Across more than 20 free experiences, you can expect glowing projections after dark, interactive artworks you can step into, and playful pop-ups that appear when you least expect them. It’s designed to be easy: wander at your own pace and see familiar places in a completely new way.

Now in its eleventh year, Immerse has become a winter fixture for Knox - not just for art lovers, but for anyone looking for something different to do.

Guided bus tours will also be available, offering curated access to installations and artist insights, with a range of family-friendly and school holiday activities also on, there’s plenty for young people to explore and enjoy throughout the event.

Whether you’re heading out with family, catching up with friends, or simply looking for an excuse to get out of the house, it’s the kind of event you can dip into for an hour or turn into a full evening.

And for those not heading away this winter, it’s a reminder that there’s plenty happening right here in our own backyard.

So head out, rug up and soak up the buzz in your own neighbourhood this Winter at Immerse!
