Do you care for a family member, friend or someone in our community who is older, unwell or living with a disability? Like many unpaid carers in our community, you may not be aware of all the supports available to assist you in your caring role.
This webinar is designed for carers at the start of their caring journey. The session will provide information to enable you to access services and supports relevant to your needs.
Topics will include:
- Support services for carers such as the Carer Gateway
- Information about organisations that provide support to carers across Victoria
- The role of Carers Victoria
- Programs and supports in Knox
- A carer’s perspective – hear from two Knox carers
