Managing $1.88 billion community assets

Help shape how Council manages community assets worth $1.88 billion over the next 10 years. Have your say by 1 August 2025.

Over the next 10 years, we have a budget of $689.69 million to manage community assets.

Community assets are at the heart of what we do. We need assets to deliver services that are valued and needed by our growing and diverse community.

Council manages a large portfolio of community assets, including buildings, roads, footpaths, sporting facilities, drainage systems, bushland, and playgrounds.

The draft plan was developed through a deliberative engagement process which involved a community panel consisting of 21 members.

The panel members were selected through an expression of interest process to be a representative group of the Knox community. A report detailing the panel activities and their feedback has been finalised.

Council has embedded the panel’s feedback, including the 6 principle priorities to consider when making long-term decisions on asset management.

Your feedback is invited on the draft plan we developed with the community panel. This is also your chance to identify opportunities and issues that have not been captured.

Community feedback closes 1 August.
