- More Ways To Play At Kings Park
There’s more to look forward to at Kings Park in Upper Ferntree Gully, with construction starting on a new basketball half court and upgraded picnic facilities. The works are expected to be completed by mid‑year.
Delivered as part of the Kings Park masterplan, the upgrades will breathe new life into an under‑used area of the reserve and create more opportunities for the community to get active, relax and spend time together. Improvements to footpaths and new garden beds are also included, with tree planting planned for the future.
The park will remain open during construction, with minimal impact on parking. Please observe all safety signage and be mindful of construction vehicles around the Willow Rd carpark.
These improvements reflect Council’s commitment to supporting active, healthy lifestyles and investing in welcoming local spaces.
