Get ready, Wantirna! Construction is officially underway at Wantirna Reserve, bringing a brand-new off-leash dog park and upgraded playground to life. 

Set to open in December 2025, the project is one of many upgrades happening at Wantirna Reserve, delivered as part of the Wantirna Reserve Masterplan endorsed by Council in March 2024. 

What’s coming 

  • Two fully fenced dog play zones, including a dedicated area for small and shy dogs
  • Brand new play equipment for children of all ages
  • New pedestrian bridge and shared walking paths
  • Solar-powered lighting for energy-efficient illumination
  • Dog-friendly amenities, such as waste bins and water fountains
  • Seating and picnic shelters for relaxation and social gatherings
  • A community space designed to foster connections between dog owners

The project is supported by the Victorian Government through the New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
