- Statement of Condolence
It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the sudden illness and passing of Jason Considine, beloved husband of Councillor Parisa Considine.
Knox City Council Mayor, Cr Lisa Cooper offered condolences on behalf of the entire Knox community.
“We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Councillor Considine and her family,” Cr Lisa Cooper said.
“This is an incredibly difficult time for her and her young children, and our thoughts are with them as they navigate through this profound loss.
“May they find comfort and strength as they remember the cherished moments shared with their husband and father.
“The loss of a loved one is never easy, and we know this is especially heartbreaking at Christmas.
“We stand with them in their time of mourning and know that the wonderful Knox community that welcomed Parisa to Australia 18 years ago will want to provide support, compassion and comfort at this difficult time.
“The family has requested privacy as they come to terms with their loss. We ask that everyone understands and respects their wishes and allows them the space they need.”
Cr Considine has taken a leave of absence from Council until the end of February 2025.
