Support young people in a changing world

Wondering how to support your teen or pre-teen (8-18 years) as they navigate the world today? Come along to this free workshop, which aims to equip parents and carers with the skills to feel more confident when connecting with your child.

When: Tuesday 27 October, 7pm – 8.30pm
Where: Knox Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway

Facilitated by Australia’s leading preventative mental health charity for boys and young men, The Man Cave, who also work in schools on strategies for young people of all genders.

This workshop will give parents and carers;

  • a better understanding of the challenges young people face today including experiencing poor mental health, navigating competing social expectations and digital overload
  • insights and understanding into the tools and activities that are delivered to young people in The Man Cave sessions
  • a clearer sense of what your child might be carrying, and one thing that you can do differently at home
  • confidence in using shared language and simple strategies to connect with your child

Come and join the conversation and know you are not alone as you connect with other parents who may be experiencing similar challenges.

Light refreshments will be provided. This workshop is free but booking essential via the link below.
