- Take Part In The Knox Seniors Festival
The Knox Seniors Festival is an opportunity for over 55s to stay curious and connected by exploring new or favourite activities and meeting new people.
It is run in conjunction with the Victorian Seniors Festival and this year’s theme is to Create. Connect. Celebrate.
There is something for everyone in the events across Knox this October, including a launch event ‘come and try’ day to the U3A band, to, an outdoor sketch class and Mystery Bus tours.

Knox Seniors Festival Opening 2025 & Carrington Celebrates 50 Years - FREE
This exciting joint celebration invites our over 55 community to come together for a special day of connection, creativity, and celebration. Enjoy a wide range of free classes, demonstrations, stalls, iPad travel and virtual reality experiences, with council staff on hand to chat, and plenty of fun activities.

New Horizons Concert Band - FREE
Based at U3A Knox and led by renowned conductor Brian Hogg, this 30-member community band brings together retirees of all musical background to perform a lively mix of concert, classical, film, and popular music.

Mystery bus trip - $15
Join the adventure as part of the Knox Seniors Festival 2025 for a day out and something different. Expression of Interest for these trips close on 1 October.

Outdoor drawing workshop - FREE
Facilitated by Angharad Neal-Williams, the workshop will meet at Ferntree Gully Library and take you on a guided walk around Wally Tew Reserve, providing an opportunity to learn the basics of observational drawing and to enjoy spending time creating outdoors in nature.

Line Dancing class - FREE
