Thinking about making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV) but not sure where to start? We’re here to help. 

Residents are invited to attend an informative and practical workshop - (Almost) Everything You Need to Know About Buying and Driving Electric Vehicles - designed to answer your questions and help you feel confident about going electric.

Join us for an in-person lunchtime session with Bryce Gaton, a well-regarded EV specialist who has been working in, writing about, and presenting on electric vehicles since 2008. Bryce will guide participants through the fundamentals of EV technology, charging requirements, Vehicle-to-Load capability, and the emerging Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) landscape.

Drawing on global research and his extensive personal experience driving electric vehicles, Bryce will also unpack common myths and misconceptions about EVs. The session will cover practical considerations, including options for purchasing new and second-hand vehicles, as well as where to find reliable information to support your decision-making.

This is a valuable opportunity to build your understanding of electric transport, ask questions, and connect with others interested in more sustainable ways to travel.
