Wildflowers, tadpoles and working bees

This time of year in Knox, you will see tadpoles swimming, the murrnong (yam daisy) flowering, and hear the calls of frogs and currawongs.

Our local environmental volunteer groups are also meeting regularly to enjoy the natural environment and to give back in positive ways!

Working bee activities include:

•    Revegetating degraded bushland by planting indigenous species
•    Observing and recording local wildlife, supporting local citizen science projects
•    Helping restore animal habitats
•    Helping reduce the impact of invasive species by removing non-native plants
•    Supporting your local community volunteer group.
