- Explore Our New Seniors Exercise Parks
Two new Seniors Exercise Parks have opened in Knox at Marie Wallace Park and Wally Tew Reserve.
As part of our commitment to being an Age-Friendly City, installing Seniors Exercise Parks supports healthy ageing by encouraging seniors to stay active and engaged within the community.
The Seniors Exercise Parks are designed to enhance physical function, mobility, coordination, strength and balance.
The two new sites are an addition to our existing site at Carrington Park which launched in 2022.
The sites are free to use, all day, every day.
Why not head down to a Seniors Exercise Park and test it out. Please remember to wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle.
Not sure how to use the equipment correctly? Join our Come and Try sessions, where our friendly Seniors Champions will demonstrate how to use it safely and effectively:
