- Guided Tour of Springvale Botanical Cemetery
Explore Springvale Botanical Cemetery, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Australia. Book a guided bus tour for 24 August or 7 September.
Proudly presented by Council’s Zest team, this tour will help you uncover the cemetery’s peaceful sanctuary which consists of 422 acres of spectacular gardens and roses.
Enjoy an informative tour and learn about the cemetery’s rich history and unique surroundings from the comfort of a guided bus tour.
Lunch is available to purchase at the cemetery’s cafe, or you can bring your own.
Following lunch you will attend an hour-long session designed to guide you in compiling personal histories, memories and end of life wishes.
The When I’m Gone book, designed by Knox in collaboration with Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, will be provided as a helpful guide to record personal details, important information and wishes in one easy-to-follow place, making it a practical way to plan for the future and support your loved ones when they need it.

- Date: Monday 24 August, or Monday 7 September 2026
- Time: 9am - 2pm
- Venue: Pick up from Knox Community Arts Centre, 790 Mountain Hwy, Bayswater
- Cost: $25, payment to be made on the day with cash or card
