Help make Knox more age-friendly

Knox residents aged 55 and over, along with their carers and families, are invited to take part in a short survey to help further shape our age-friendly community now and into the future.

About the survey

Council’s Age-Friendly City Survey is based on the World Health Organization’s Age-Friendly Communities framework, which looks at eight important areas of everyday life. These are: Housing, Social Participation, Respect and Social Inclusion, Civic Participation and Employment, Communication and Information, Community Support and Health Care, Outdoor Spaces and Buildings, and Transportation.

Your responses will provide a valuable snapshot of how our community is performing across these areas, including what is working well and where improvements could be made.

Why your feedback is important

The information gathered will be used by Council to:

  • Guide future planning and delivery of services and programs
  • Identify priorities for further community engagement and consultation
  • Determine topics requiring advocacy efforts to other organisations and all levels of government on behalf of local residents

Who should take part?

We welcome input from:

  • Residents aged 55 and over
  • Carers of someone aged 55 and over

Quick and easy to complete

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Submit your responses by Sunday 18 October.
