Contribute advice and insights to help guide Council services for residents aged 55 and over by joining the Knox Active Ageing Advisory Committee. Expression of interest closes 30 October.

We currently have opportunities to join our Active Ageing Advisory Committee.

If you live, work or volunteer in Knox, and understand issues impacting older people, we would like to hear from you.

Committee members have an important role of guiding Council services and programs for our older residents.

Your valuable experience, insights and knowledge of the needs of Seniors will help inform Council policy, service design and priorities.

It is also a great way to build connections and network with like-minded community members.

Committee members serve for a 2-year period, attending 5-6 meetings per year. These meetings are held on Thursday between 6pm to 8:30pm. The first meeting will be held in February 2027. Further information is available in the Term of Reference.

Applications close 5pm on Friday 30 October 2026.
