- Nature Lights Up At Park Ridge Reserve
A striking new mural by artist Angharad Neal-Williams can be seen at Park Ridge Reserve.
Spanning an impressive 20 metres across the rear wall of the new modular pavilion and inspired by the local environment, the artwork features a sulphur-crested cockatoo, a wren and native plants, interwoven with scenes of people enjoying outdoor activities. It’s a celebration of both our community and the natural surroundings we share.
As daylight fades, light boxes integrated into the mural begin to glow, transforming it into a vibrant and welcoming feature after dark.
The mural’s theme was shaped through consultation with tenant clubs and reflects Council’s commitment to supporting a diverse range of public art projects across Knox—each one helping to tell local stories, spark conversation and create spaces people feel connected to.
Next time you’re at Park Ridge Reserve, be sure to visit the mural and experience its glow as the evening sets in!
