Biodiversity Month: Join a Friends working bee
Get your hands dirty and join one of our local environmental groups' working bees in celebration of Biodiversity Month.
September is Biodiversity Month and what better way to give back to your community than joining one of our local environmental groups’ working bees.
Working bee activities include:
- Revegetating degraded bushland by planting indigenous species
- Observing and recording local wildlife, supporting local citizen science projects
- Helping restore animal habitats
- Helping reduce the impact of invasive species by removing non-native plants
- Supporting your local community volunteer group.
