- Join The Aussie Bird Count
Get outdoors and take part in Australia’s biggest bird count from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October 2026.
Simply spend 20 minutes in your backyard or favourite outdoor space, count the birds you see and submit your results online or through the BirdCount app. The app also includes a bird finder to help you identify different species.
It’s a simple and fun way to discover the birds living around Knox while contributing to a national snapshot of Australian birdlife.
How to take part
- Find a spot outdoors and spend 20 minutes observing.
- Count the birds you see.
- Submit your count online or via the BirdCount app.
