Expressions of interest to host an event for Neighbour Day close next Friday 30 January.  

Knox City Council is proud to support Neighbours Every Day, a national campaign led by Relationships Australia and provides a great opportunity to get to know neighbours in your street and create a sense of belonging with each other.  Knowing your neighbours improves general wellbeing and contributes to people's sense of safety.  

On Saturday 28 March and Sunday 29 of March, we are inviting residents to host an event in your front yard, street or parklet. Whether it’s sharing food at a picnic or morning tea, or frisbee in the park, your event can help reduce loneliness, build friendships, and create safer, stronger neighbourhoods. Council will provide resources and promotional support to make hosting easy.

By hosting, you’re not just organising an event – you’re creating a stronger, more connected Knox.
