Big parks, tiny parks. What’s their future?

We love our open spaces in Knox. Our city is home to parks, reserves, bushland, waterways, trails and urban spaces that bring people together and make Knox a great place to live. With a growing population, changing lifestyles and increasing density, these spaces will play an even more important role in the years ahead.

That's why Council is developing a long-term Open Space Strategy, and we're seeking community feedback to help shape it.

Tell us what matters most to you about the parks, reserves, playgrounds and open spaces you use in Knox. Your feedback will help shape important decisions about how these spaces are cared for, shared and enhanced, and how we balance recreation, nature and community life as Knox grows.

Feedback closes 16 August 2026.
