- Build Your Reading, Writing and Numeracy Skills
Would you like to build your reading, writing and numeracy skills in a welcoming and supportive environment? Read Write Now offers a friendly group setting where everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace.
Whether you’d like to feel more confident reading, complete forms with ease, support your child’s learning, or start using digital tools, this program is
designed to support everyday skills that make a real difference.
Read Write Now is a funded Learn Local program, so it is free to attend.
You can expect
• Practical reading and writing activities for daily life
• Simple and engaging ways to build numeracy skills
• Support from an experienced and approachable teacher
• A relaxed, inclusive environment where everyone is welcome
• Opportunities to build confidence and celebrate your progress
Learning alongside others helps create a sense of connection and shared encouragement. You’ll meet people with similar goals, support one another, and build confidence together.
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since you last studied, everyone is welcome, and support is provided every step of the way.
Get involved
Read Write Now is on Wednesdays from 5.00pm – 7.00pm during school terms at the Mountain District Learning Centre.
If you know someone who could benefit, feel free to bring them along to try a session. All classes are free.
The Centre can also support small groups who are interested in learning together.
