eTendering Portal

Knox City Council uses a free eTendering portal service where tenders can be downloaded and lodged electronically.

Tenderers are required to register in the eTendering Portal to use this service.

Submitting a Tender

Do read the Conditions of Tender carefully. This document contains vital information about how your tender response should be prepared.
If you don't follow these instructions your bid may be disqualified as non-compliant.

Don't be complacent when responding to a tender, even if you are the incumbent supplier. Always present your best solution and provide the strongest response you can.

Tender submissions must include:

  • A signed Tender Form
  • Completed Tender Schedules
  • Additional Information requested in the tender documentation
  • Any other documents/attachments applicable to the tender submission
  • Tender submissions including attached files (total file size) must not exceed 2GB

Important Notes

  • Closing dates and times for tenders are strictly enforced and no late tenders will be accepted.
  • Unless specified in an individual tender, Council does not accept tenders by e-mail, on a USB or as a hard copy.
  • Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.

Tender Presentation Tips

  • Don't cram information on one page.
  • Don't reformat tables, spreadsheets and proforma.
  • Read the evaluation criteria carefully.
  • Use headers and footers to identify your response and company.
  • Start each new section on a new page.
  • Print on both sides of the paper.
  • Provide a detailed table of contents and page numbering.
  • Use named dividers to provide quick reference points.
  • Ensure that where signatures are required they are provided.
  • Check accuracy of all pricing schedules, and
  • Do a spell check.
