About the policy
The objectives of this policy is to ensure:
- a uniform approach to the wording of plaques prepared for unveiling at the opening of Council owned facilities
- there is a clear and consistent method for assessing community requests for new plaques and memorials on Council's land
- installation and ongoing maintenance of new plaques and memorials on Council's land is undertaken in an agreed manner.
