The Asset Plan provides strategic direction on how Council cost-effectively manages our community’s assets to meet evolving needs.
Council manages $1.237 billion worth of community assets (excluding land value), including:
- buildings
- roads and footpaths
- sporting facilities
- drainage systems
- bushland
- playgrounds.
The Asset Plan guides how Council prioritises and manages community assets over a 10-year period. It sets out principles for using, maintaining, building, acquiring, and disposing of infrastructure assets.
Council developed this plan alongside the Council and Health and Wellbeing Plan and Financial Plan to ensure we have the right resources to deliver initiatives set out in the Council Plan 2021–2025 and meet community aspirations.
