Support services

Knox City Council will not tolerate racial or cultural abuse against you or your family. There are services to protect our multicultural community, including mental health services.

If you've experienced racism

If someone discriminates against you, you can complain. The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission will investigate. You, or someone on your behalf, can lodge a complaint by:

Serious incidents

Serious racial or cultural abuse should be immediately reported. This protects you and others from future attacks.

Report it to Victoria Police.

Mental health support

There are services to support your mental health. These can help with:

  • mental health
  • stress or anxiety
  • loneliness or low moods
  • suicidal thoughts
