Application tips

The sole objective of your application is to demonstrate to the selection panel that you are the person they are looking for. 

The position description includes the selection criteria of what we trust you will deliver. As part of your application, explain and provide examples of how you meet this criteria.

Popular roles can get hundreds of applications. Stand out with an application that is clear and easy to read.

After you apply

After the closing date, a selection panel reviews each application. In some instances, a phone screen interview may occur before determining who is invited for interview.  

A second interview may also be required.  

Be aware that a role with lots of applications may affect the time it takes to get back to you.

Awareness of Knox City Council's vision, purpose and values can also give you an advantage.
