Community Partnership Funding (CPF)

The Community Partnership Funding application period is now closed.

The CPF program supports locally based community organisations in the delivery of services that benefit the whole Knox community as outlined in the Community Partnership Funding Policy. This program was previously known as Community Operational Funding (COF).

Funding contributes to the recurrent costs of services addressing local community priorities and the objectives of the current Community and Council Plan over the next four years.

Four-year funding agreements commencing from July 2018 (an initial two year term with the option of a second two years, subject to satisfactory outcomes) will be offered to community organisations that are successful in the eligibility and assessment process, unless otherwise specified.

The funding streams to be supported are:

Contested Funding

  • Specialist family and individual support services:
    a) Financial counselling
    b) General Counselling
    c) Legal Service and Advocacy and
    d) Welfare Support and Emergency Relief
  • Volunteer Resource Centre
  • Preservation and promotion of the history of Knox

These categories are open to applications from organisations that can meet program eligibility criteria and can demonstrate relevant expertise and capacity.

Eligible applications will be referred to the CPF Assessment panel for consideration and recommendation to Council.

Uncontested Funding

  • Volunteer based emergency services
  • Knox Learning Alliance

These categories are available to the organisations specified in the guidelines.

Applications are required as expressions of interest and to meet standard accountability requirements.

View details of the funding objectives for each of the streams and categories in the Community Partnership Funding Guidelines.
