Council Meetings

Council's decision-making meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of each month. The meeting timetable for 2020 is available below.

From 30 March 2020 meetings are being live streamed on Council's website.

NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION

In keeping with stay at home restrictions Council meetings will not be open to public attendance until restrictions are eased.

Meetings will be live streamed on Council’s website.

Public questions will need to be submitted prior to 12.00pm on the day of the meeting using the online form (see link below) and will be read by the Mayor or Chief Executive Officer.

This is in accordance with emergency measures introduced into the Local Government Act 2020 by the Victorian Government to facilitate safe council meetings during the pandemic.

Council Meetings

Council Meetings are generally held on the fourth Monday of each month (excluding the December meeting).

Council's Meeting procedure includes public question time as a standard item on the Agenda in order to facilitate community participation in the meeting. If you like, you can submit a question to Council using the following online form.

Currently questions must be received no later than midday on the day of the Council meeting.

Strategic Planning Committee Meetings

The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) is a Special Committee which comprises solely of Councillors. The Committee meets 11 times each year generally on the second Monday of each month. The Strategic Planning Committee has delegated authority from Council to consider a broad range of issues and with less formal meeting procedures, enables more discussion between Councillors on strategic matters when required.
