Proposal to lease, sell and exchange Council land

Council needs to give notice for proposals to lease, sell or exchange Council property as part of the statutory process under the Local Government Act 2020.

Council properties available to lease

Miller’s Homestead

We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from not-for-profit community groups and organisations to become the tenant and manager of Miller’s Homestead. This property is located on the corner of Melrose Court and Dorrigo Drive, Boronia.

We are looking for organisations that support Council’s goals and priorities and provide benefits to the Knox community.

Key dates

  • Applications open – Monday 6 July 2026
  • Applications close – 5 pm Friday 31 July 2026

We will not accept applications received after this time.

The venue will be available for new occupants from early 2027.

Inspections

You can email [email protected] to book a facility inspection. 

Inspections will run on:

  • Monday 13 July from 3 pm to 4 pm
  • Wednesday 15 July from 2 pm to 3 pm.

We welcome interest from not-for-profit groups and organisations that would like to lease a Council site on a long-term basis. We encourage organisations that support Council’s goals and priorities and provide benefits to the Knox community.
