Process and next steps
Dog attacks and dog aggression represent the highest risk in animal management. As a result, Council treats dog attacks as a priority.
We investigate all reported dog attacks. All dog attacks have the potential to be prosecuted criminally at the Magistrates' Court.
Council may seize any dog suspected of being involved in a dog attack until the result of the prosecution.
