The Youth Hive is a space for young people aged 10 to 25 who live, work, study or have a connection in Knox. It is located inside the Knox Library.

Youth Hive

The Youth Hive is a dedicated space in the Knox Library for young people aged 10-25 years. Knox City Council youth workers are present 2-5pm weekdays if you need information, support or would just like to chat. No appointment necessary.

The space offers a place to relax, study, play, connect and join in the programs or activities.

  • Day: Monday - Friday
  • Time: 2 pm to 5 pm
  • Ages: 10 -25-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE
Lego Club

Join the Lego Club and bring your designs to life, participate in challenges and learn some new skills all while having fun.

  • Day: Tuesdays (Term 1)
  • Time: 4 pm - 5 pm
  • Ages: 12 -20-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE (all materials supplied)

Registrations are essential.

Cross-Stitch Club

Slow-down, relax and get creative with the Cross-Stitch Club. All skill levels welcome.

  • Location: Bayswater Library
  • Day: Thursday (Term 1)
  • Time: 4 pm - 5:15 pm
  • Ages: 14 -25-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE (all materials supplied)

Registrations are essential.

Table Tennis

Come and join us every Thursday afternoon in the Hive for table tennis.

This activity is for people who:

  • Love table tennis
  • Have never played but want to try
  • Need a study break

No bookings needed.

  • Ages: 10 -25-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE
Dungeons and Dragons

Join us to play this popular role-playing game.

Explore a world and take on an adventure!

Our game is designed to welcome new/beginner players.

All resources and materials will be supplied - the only thing you need to bring is your imagination and sense of fun.

  • Day: Thursdays (Term 1)
  • Time: 4:30 pm to 6 pm
  • Ages: 10 -25-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE

Games are organised when there are enough people to form a group.

Embrace your inner night owl and join us at the Hive for video games, craft, movies and heaps of other fun stuff.

Video Games

We’re firing up the Switch every Friday afternoon at the Hive to get into some fun games and chill out before the weekend starts. 

Video game suggestions are welcome.

  • Time: 3 pm - 4:30 pm
  • Ages: 10 -25-year-olds
  • Cost: FREE
