Detox Your Home of Household Chemicals

Detox your Home is a free and easy way to dispose of unwanted household chemicals. Collected items are recycled, not sent to landfill.

There are 31 Detox Your Home mobile collections in Victoria each year. The program is run by Sustainability Victoria in partnership with local councils.

Permanent Victorian drop-off sites for paint and other products

Less toxic items – paint, household batteries, fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent lamps – can be taken to a permanent Victorian drop-off site.
