At times, some of these facilities will be used by specific clubs and groups for training and/or organised sporting games, with a relevant tenant permit.

Sports and active reserves

In several reserves across Knox there are dedicated active sporting facilities, including:

  • ovals
  • pavilions
  • cricket nets.

At times, these will be used by specific clubs and groups for training and/or organised games.

Personal training in parks

Personal trainers and outdoor fitness groups who run programs in any of our parks must have a personal training permit.

Improving our parks and reserves

Council undertakes planning, design and construction works in our parks on an annual basis.

These works are carried out according to the Knox Open Space Plan 2012-2022 and are funded through our Capital Works Program.

We encourage you to have your say on our future parks upgrades and works.

Works access to Council reserves

If you need to carry out work on Council owned or managed land, you need a Council reserve access permit
