Proposal to sell 566R Boronia Rd, Wantirna
We seek your feedback on our proposal to sell Council property, 566R Boronia Rd, Wantirna, which has been declared as surplus. Your feedback will help guide Council's decision.
Council declared this vacant land as surplus at the December 2023 Council meeting.
The land includes a small tree reserve at the street frontage (approximately 181 m2). Our proposal involves subdividing the land, in order for Council to retain and protect the reserve.
The remaining land (approximately 819 m2) is being proposed for sale. Proceeds from the potential sale, would be allocated to Council's Open Space Reserve, and support future acquisition of land for open space or support initiatives to improve existing open space.
